Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

Pastor Kathy Cadarette began serving as pastor
of Reed City United Methodist Church on July 1, 2011. She was born
and raised in Indiana, and graduated from Ball State University in
1982 with a major in journalism. After working 9 years as a
newspaper reporter, Pastor Kathy felt the call to ministry, and
entered United Theological Seminary. Her previous parishes have
included Horton Bay, Greensky Hill, Alanson and Harbor Springs
United Methodist Churches. Her husband, Dave, is pastor of the
Hilltop Fellowship Mennonite Church in Petoskey.
